CrossFit changed my life — mentally and physically. I coach to help people get healthy, build confidence, and chase PRs. I love the sport so much that I compete in CrossFit competitions myself. I grew up playing just about every sport — karate, gymnastics, baseball, basketball — but fell in love with water polo, playing through high school and college and later coaching varsity girls water polo. After my playing days, I gained about 50 pounds, then swung too far the other way and got overly lean. CrossFit helped me rebuild strength, find balance, and discover an incredible community. Coaching allows me to give that experience back and help others feel strong, confident, and capable.
My turning point came after college when I stopped playing water polo. Without the structure of training and competition, I slipped into unhealthy habits and gained nearly 50 pounds. I didn’t recognize myself. I tried to fix it by going all-in the opposite direction and lost a ton of weight fast — but I was doing it for the wrong reasons. I was chasing skinny, not healthy. CrossFit changed my life and help me become the strongest and fittest I have ever been in my entire life.
I coach because fitness changed my life, and I want others to experience that same transformation. The CrossFit community has allowed me to accomplish more than I could imagine and has also helped keep me grounded during tough times. I’m passionate about helping people get healthy and accomplish new fitness goals they never thought was possible.
